Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer refunds or returns?
Since our services are digital and customized to each project, we do not offer refunds once work has begun. However, we want every client to be satisfied — if you’re unhappy with your final delivery, we’re happy to offer free revisions (up to the limit included with your service) or issue a credit toward a future project. Our goal is to make sure you walk away with a sound you’re proud of.
Do you work with international artists?
Absolutely. We work with artists, producers, and content creators from all over the world. As long as you have an internet connection and can send your files, we can deliver industry-quality audio, no matter where you’re located.
How do I send my files?
After placing your order, you’ll receive an upload link via email or on the product page (Via WeTransfer). Be sure to include clearly labeled stems, tempo information, and any reference tracks if available.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept WAV, AIFF, or high-quality MP3 files (320kbps) for mixing and mastering. For the best results, please export your stems at 24-bit, 44.1kHz or higher, with all effects you want printed and fader levels at unity (0dB). Also Master should be at least (-6dB - 3dB max)
How long is turnaround time?
Standard turnaround for most services is 3 business days, depending on project complexity and queue. Rush Delivery is available at checkout if you need a faster turnaround (usually within 24 hours)
How many revisions do I get?
Each mix or master includes 2 free revisions. This allows us to fine-tune your project based on your feedback. Additional revisions can be added at a small fee if needed.
What if I don’t like the final mix or master?
We offer revisions to ensure you’re happy with the end result. If after revisions you’re still unsatisfied, we’ll work with you to find a solution, whether it’s a re-mix, re-master, or a credit for future use.
Can I hear examples of your work?
Yes! You can check out samples on our website, YouTube channel, or social media. We also offer screen-recorded mix breakdowns as an add-on so you can see how we approach your specific track.
Do you offer bundle deals?
Yes. Our most popular option is the Mixing + Mastering Bundle, which includes both services at a discounted rate. We also offer release-ready bundles with alternate versions (Clean, Acapella, Show version) and add-ons like screen recordings.
What are alternate versions and why would I need them?
Alternate versions like Clean, Acapella, and Show (performance) versions are useful for live shows, radio play, licensing, or social media content. These are available as add-ons during checkout or bundled into select packages.
Do you offer screen recordings of your mixing process?
Yes — as an add-on, we provide a high-quality screen-recorded walkthrough of your mix or master session. It’s perfect for educational purposes, behind-the-scenes content, or personal reference.
Can I book a consultation or get feedback before placing an order?
Yes, we offer free consultations and pre-mix feedback. You can contact us through the site or email us directly with your questions or a sample of your track for initial guidance.
What DAWs do you use?
We primarily use Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Maschine and Ableton Live, depending on the nature of the project. All final files are delivered in high-resolution WAV format regardless of the DAW used.
Will you use any effects on my vocals/instruments?
Yes — during the mixing process we apply EQ, compression, reverb, delay, saturation, and other effects as needed to enhance the sound. If you prefer your vocals raw or lightly treated, just let us know beforehand in the project notes.
Can I request specific changes (like “more reverb” or “louder kick”)?
Absolutely. Your feedback is encouraged during the revision phase. We welcome precise requests to ensure the final product aligns with your creative vision.
Do you edit vocals or podcasts?
Yes. We offer detailed editing services for both music vocals and podcast audio — including comping, pitch correction, noise reduction, breath removal, and more.
Do you work with any genres?
We specialize in hip-hop, R&B, pop, trap, and soul — but we’re open to all styles. If you’re unsure whether your project fits, reach out and let’s talk!
Can I reschedule or delay my project?
Yes, just notify us before we start your session. We’ll hold your project in the queue and resume when you’re ready, no extra charge.
Do you offer mastering only if I already have a mix?
Yes. If you’ve already had your song mixed (by us or another engineer), you can order Mastering only — we’ll prepare your track for release and optimize it across all platforms.
How do I contact you if I have an issue or question?
You can reach us via the Contact page on our site or email us directly at SoundVisionAudio@Gmail.com. We typically respond within 24 hours.
